Course Overview
About Course
SAP MM (Materials Management) is a vital logistics module designed to streamline end‑to‑end procurement and inventory operations within SAP ERP. This structured 40‑Hour SAP MM Training imparts in-depth expertise in critical areas such as master data management, procurement cycles, inventory control, planning, invoicing, and cross-module integration in SAP S/4HANA environments.
Participants begin with foundational concepts—understanding SAP’s landscape, MM’s role in the broader ERP suite, and P2P cycle basics. They build organizational structures and define master data elements like material, vendor, info records, and source lists—key for consistent transactional accuracy .
The Procurement module covers purchase requisitions, RFQs, POs, scheduling agreements, and special procurements (consignment, subcontracting, service entry). Inventory Management dives into goods movements, valuation, transfers, and movement types, supported by physical inventory processes and valuation methods like moving average and split valuation
The course addresses MRP, showing how to configure and execute planning runs and manage procurement proposals. Invoice verification teaches the 3‑way match and GR/IR clearing procedures Pricing, account determination, and automatic G/L postings are explored to connect logistics with finance
A critical piece is cross-module integration, illustrating flows between MM–FI, MM–CO, SD, and PP. Reports and analytics modules enable monitoring of stock levels, vendor performance, and procurement KPIs. A comprehensive capstone ties all components into an integrated workflow—from creation of master data and POs through goods receipt, invoice verification, MRP execution, and reporting.
With hands-on exercise labs, domain-specific case studies, qualification preparation, and career guidance, participants gear up for roles like SAP MM Consultant, Supply Chain Analyst, or Procurement Specialist. The program ensures certification readiness and real-world competency in implementing and supporting SAP’s Materials Management processes
