Course Overview
About Course
Microsoft Power Apps empowers both technical and non-technical professionals to build custom business applications on the Power Platform. This 40‑hour training provides a deep, hands-on journey from foundational concepts through enterprise-grade solution delivery.
The training kicks off with platform orientation—identifying Canvas and Model-Driven apps, exploring Dataverse, and configuring development environments. Hands-on labs guide participants in modeling data—creating tables, relationships, business rules, and calculated columns.
Canvas app modules dive into UI controls, navigation, Power Fx formulas, delegation, variables, and the patch() function. Participants also master advanced controls and component libraries—promoting reusable, scalable design patterns.
Next, learners explore Model-Driven apps: building forms, views, dashboards, and command bar customization to create robust data-centric applications. Integration with Power Automate introduces flow creation—covering trigger-based automations, approval processes, and error handling routines. Desktop flow basics provide a glimpse into robotic process automation that complements app-based solutions.
Integration modules demonstrate the use of connectors and REST APIs to unify Power Apps with external systems. App administration content covers app sharing, permission management, export/versioning, and environment governance.
Performance and troubleshooting sessions teach participants how to diagnose and optimize canvas apps and flows, enforce delegation best practices, and improve user experience.
The experience culminates in a capstone project—a fully integrated business app combining Canvas and Model-Driven components with end-to-end flows and connectors. This prepares learners for real-world solution deployment and certification.
Certification-aligned content focuses on PL‑100 and PL‑200 exams, supplemented with practice questions and mock sessions. With expert instruction, labs, mentor support, and career development modules, participants gain not only technical expertise but career-ready confidence to drive digital transformation initiatives using Microsoft Power Apps.
