Course Overview
About Course
Oracle HRMS Training provides HR and IT professionals with a strategic skill set to manage, automate, and optimize end-to-end human resources processes within Oracle E‑Business Suite R12.2. Over 40 hours, learners explore HRMS system structure and administration, mastering multi-org setups, user access, security, and foundational components such as KFF, DFF, lookups, and value sets—laying a robust framework for workforce data accuracy and flexibility.
The program dives into Core HR, guiding learners through defining business groups, legal entities, jobs, positions, and grades. Through interactive exercises, participants configure organizational hierarchies and employee assignments. The Payroll and Absence Management modules teach participants to build a comprehensive payroll engine with elements, batch runs, absence accruals, and policy design. Learners run end-to-end payroll and leave transactions, learning key reconciliation best practices.
Self-Service HR (SSHR) modules enable employee and manager portals for personal data changes and approvals, while Advanced Benefits Administration empowers attendees to define complex benefit plans, eligibility rules, and life-event triggers using Oracle Advanced Benefits. Recruitment processes are handled via iRecruitment, covering applicant tracking, requisition workflows, screening, and manager reviews. Time & Labor teaches accurate time capture, roster management, and compliance.
Reporting capabilities are addressed via HRMS Intelligence (HRMSi), delivering analytics, dashboards, and ad hoc queries to enhance decision-making. Workflow modules cover alerts, transaction approvals, and workflow automations. Real-world integration scenarios include data loads, outbound extracts, and troubleshooting interface errors.
The capstone project synthesizes learning into a simulated project: employees are onboarded, hired, paid, tracked, and reported, culminating in a demo and peer review. With focused instructor mentoring, certification prep for the Oracle EBS R12 HCM Essentials exam (1Z0‑548), and career support via mock interviews and resume refinement, graduates emerge as Oracle HRMS Functional Consultants or Technical Specialists, ready to deploy and manage HRMS solutions in enterprise settings.
