Course Overview
About Course
This 40‑hour OBIEE training offers a complete path to mastering Oracle’s enterprise-grade business intelligence platform. Starting with foundational BI and OBIEE architecture, learners progress to hands-on repository modeling: defining physical, logical, and presentation layers, aggregates, variables, hierarchies, and partitioning strategies.
The course emphasizes practical competency in OBIEE Answers for ad-hoc reporting and formatting, BI Publisher for formal templated reporting, and dashboards enriched with selectors, prompts, and navigation features. Users also gain experience with Visual Analyzer for agile self-service analytics.
Security and governance are central—training covers role-based access control, row-level filters, caching policies, and query limits. Performance modules teach tuning repositories, managing cache, and monitoring server sessions. Hands-on administration labs cover lifecycle migration, patching, server configuration, and backup using Enterprise Manager.
Participants undertake a capstone project developing an end-to-end OBIEE implementation—from data modeling to secure dashboards and performance tuning. Mock certification exercises prepare them for OBIEE Developer and Admin roles. With a strong balance of labs, tool exposure, expert guidance, and certification prep, graduates emerge ready to architect, deploy, and administer OBIEE solutions, delivering impactful analytics within enterprise environments.
