Course Overview
About Course
Microsoft Dynamics AX (now evolving into Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations) is a powerful ERP platform widely used in large-scale, global enterprises. The 40‑hour Dynamics AX Technical Training equips participants with deep technical proficiency—covering architecture, development, integration, performance optimization, and migration strategies.
Beginning with an exploration of the scalable AOS-layered architecture, MorphX IDE, X++, and the Application Object Tree, learners gain essential grounding in ERP technical foundations. They move into the data dictionary to define tables, views, indexes, EDTs, and relationships—understanding how business data is structured and manipulated.
Critical hands-on modules teach X++ development through control-flow logic, exception handling, OOP principles, and database access via SQL-like syntax. Form design sessions follow, where attendees build apps using form controls, data sources, menus, and FactBoxes. Batch framework and AIF modules support asynchronous job scheduling and application integration—core capabilities for ERP automation and interfacing with external systems.
Advanced development techniques include event handlers, delegates, Visual Studio integration, and custom SSRS report creation, empowering participants to extend AX in a modular and maintainable fashion. Security modules cover role-based access, duties, privileges, and models, ensuring compliance and data protection. Performance tuning strategies leverage AX debug and trace tools to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
Data migration content prepares learners for real-world scenarios involving CSV/XML data loads and upgrade paths from AX to D365 F&O. The capstone project consolidates skills into a full-stack ERP component featuring custom tables, forms, services, batch jobs, and reports—ready for peer review and certification readiness.
With expert-led instruction, real case-based labs, and alignment to Microsoft’s MB6‑890 certification and D365 developer pathways, this immersive course also supports career growth through resume reviews, mock interviews, and recruitment guidance. By completion, graduates are equipped to build, extend, and optimize enterprise-grade financial, supply chain, or manufacturing solutions—positioning themselves as skilled Dynamics AX technical consultants and developers.
