Course Overview
About Course
This 40‑hour IoT training equips learners to design, build, and deploy comprehensive IoT solutions combining embedded hardware, edge logic, cloud integration, and data visualization. The program begins with core IoT concepts—layers, components, device types—and advances into hands-on programming using Arduino and Raspberry Pi, exploring protocols like Wi‑Fi, BLE, MQTT, LoRaWAN, and Sigfox.
Central to the curriculum is edge-to-cloud connectivity: participants configure gateways, leverage Azure/AWS/GCP IoT platforms, and construct data ingestion and storage pipelines. Analytics sessions focus on real-time and historical sensor dashboards using systems like Grafana and Prometheus. Security modules address critical concerns—secure authentication, OTA updates, encryption standards—ensuring devices remain resilient and trustworthy.
With 70% of class time dedicated to labs, every tech concept is reinforced through projects—ranging from predictive maintenance pilots to smart home systems. Learners gain proficiency in IoT ecosystem tools like Node-RED, Docker, MQTT brokers, and open-source stacks. The course culminates in a capstone project: design and deploy an end-to-end IoT solution from sensor to actionable dashboard.
Expert-led mentoring, peer reviews, and post-class resources cement learning and foster a community of practice. Graduates emerge ready to work in IoT roles, bringing robust device skills, deployment experience, and a portfolio-ready project, as well as a solid grasp of industry standards, security, and governance practices.
