Course Overview
About Course
As billions of devices become connected, the 40‑hour IoT Training empowers engineers, architects, and developers to design and secure full-cycle IoT systems. The program begins with IoT fundamentals—covering device topologies, protocol layers, and architectural designs—to build a broad understanding . Hardware-focused modules explore SoCs, embedded components, and connectivity methods like Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, and cellular. Hands-on ESP32 labs immerse learners in board-level programming and integration exercises .
Participants advance to firmware development using FreeRTOS, microcontroller languages, and OTA strategies. They then construct robust data pipelines, from device telemetry through edge gateways to cloud ingestion using MQTT and HTTP on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Data analytics and visualization skills are reinforced in Jupyter-based dashboards.
Security—a cornerstone of IoT—is addressed in depth: encryption, mutual authentication, secure boot, firmware validation, and privacy practices mitigate real-world vulnerabilities . Additional labs reinforce secure communication between constrained devices.
The networking module explains IPv6, mesh topologies, LPWAN standards, and protocol optimizations via QoS testing. Reliability-focused segments teach device lifecycle management, OTA update frameworks, and monitoring strategies. A specialized section on embedded ML introduces anomaly detection and forensic tracing to detect and respond to threats.
Learners apply all skills in a capstone project, designing, implementing, securing, and analyzing an IoT solution from sensors to cloud. The course’s tactical, hands-on structure is complemented by expert instruction, interactive quizzes, threat modeling, and real-time troubleshooting. With resources like workbooks, posters, and lab docs—and alignment to recognition standards such as IoT‑C and AWS IoT certifications—graduates gain holistic IoT competencies.
Upon completion, attendees confidently architect scalable, secure, and intelligent IoT systems ready for industrial, consumer, or enterprise deployment—bridging hardware, software, connectivity, and security in today’s hyper-connected world.
