Course Overview
About Course
This 40‑hour Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) training class empowers professionals to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade data cleansing, standardization, matching, and stewardship processes. Learners start with core concepts—data profiling, scorecards, and quality rules—then progress into advanced modules involving parsing, standardization, and postal address validation using reference data.
The course advances into sophisticated matching and deduplication methods such as tokenization, exact/fuzzy logic, identity matching, and consolidation, with dedicated sessions on exception workflows and stewardship handling via Analyst and Developer interfaces. Participants gain hands-on experience building reusable mapplets, integrating DQ processes into PowerCenter ETL pipelines, and advancing to cloud-native data quality workflows with Informatica’s Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
Tool proficiency is built through real-world scenarios using both on-premise and cloud tools. Developers configure comprehensive DQ jobs, manage exceptions, and fine-tune performance and error logging. A capstone project consolidates skills from data profiling to deployment and certification readiness. With rich hands-on labs, expert mentorship, mock certification testing, and detailed resource kits, graduates are job-ready as Informatica Data Quality Developers and proficient at delivering scalable, trusted data solutions.
