Course Overview
About Course
This 40‑hour Watson training immerses participants in IBM’s AI and cognitive computing platform, equipping them to design and deploy intelligent, data-driven applications. Beginning with an introduction to Watson services—such as Studio, Assistant, Discovery, and language/vision APIs—learners explore the foundations of cognitive AI. In hands-on modules, they build machine learning pipelines in Watson Studio, leveraging AutoAI, notebook workflows, and model management tools.
The curriculum delves into NLP, covering intent classification, entity recognition, dialog structure creation, and deployment of conversational agents. Participants also gain expertise in document-driven systems using Watson Discovery and enrichments, and develop applications using vision and speech APIs. Integration labs emphasize embedding Watson services within full-stack applications using Python or Node.js SDKs.
Custom model training, deployment, and lifecycle management via Watson Machine Learning prepare learners for production-grade AI systems. Modules on security, governance, and ethical AI awareness ensure responsible deployment. The course culminates in a capstone project combining bot interfaces, document processing, model training, and application deployment. With expert mentorship, real-world use cases, and career-driven resources, graduates are ready to build cutting-edge AI applications and pursue IBM Watson certification confidently.
