About Course
This 40‑hour Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) training empowers finance and technical professionals to deliver enterprise-level financial consolidation, reporting, and analytics capabilities. Beginning with core concepts and system architecture—including Classic and Web interfaces, Essbase integration, and Smart View—the course provides a strong foundation in metadata architecture and dimension modeling. Learners will design and configure complete metadata hierarchies, import data via FDMEE/Data Management, and build data forms and grids for efficient data entry and review.
Critical financial processes such as intercompany eliminations, manual journal entries, currency translation, and consolidated reporting are covered in depth. The training includes security governance, covering roles, access control, and lifecycles via LCM. Participants also develop robust reporting capabilities using Financial Reporting Studio and Smart View to generate interactive financial dashboards. Practical labs involve full-application workflows: loading metadata, executing consolidations, translating currencies, and generating board-level reports.
With 60% of the instruction focused on practical exercises, real-world use cases reinforce best practices. Server administration and lifecycle management modules prepare learners for the operational aspects of HFM environments. The curriculum concludes with a capstone project that integrates all functional modules, plus certification exam preparation aligned with Oracle’s 1Z0-532 credential. Graduates gain the skills to configure, manage, and maintain HFM solutions, emerging ready to contribute as HFM Developers, Administrators, or Consultants in enterprise EPM implementations.
