Course Overview
About Course
DevOps on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) blends developer agility with operational resilience, guided by SRE methodologies to foster speed and stability. GCP offers a powerful native toolchain—from Cloud Source Repositories to Cloud Build, Container Registry, GKE, Monitoring, Logging, and IaC tools—that empowers teams to build end-to-end automated pipelines.
Our 40‑hour hands-on training covers the full DevOps lifecycle on GCP. Beginning with DevOps fundamentals and GCP setup, participants learn to orchestrate Git workflows and manage source code with Cloud Source Repositories. They then master build automation using Cloud Build, integrating artifact storage via Container or Artifact Registry.
Containerization is taught next: learners build Docker images and deploy them to GKE, understanding cluster configuration and management. Multiple CI/CD pipelines are then orchestrated—spanning code commits to deployable artifacts—mirroring real-world deployment models. Infrastructure as Code is woven into the training, using Cloud Deployment Manager and Terraform to automate cloud provisioning and configuration.
Security is embedded seamlessly: binary authorization and image scanning enforce safe container deployment. Our observability module equips learners with Cloud Monitoring and Logging tools—covering uptime checks, alerts, tracing, error reporting, and log routing—ensuring robust incident detection and response.
The program culminates with a capstone project where participants construct a fully automated, secure, monitored CI/CD pipeline on GCP, reflect on lessons learned, and prepare for the Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer Certification. Throughout, there’s expert instruction, collaborative labs, and ongoing mentorship.
Graduates leave well-prepared for DevOps roles in GCP-centric environments, equipped with strong architecture foundations, pipeline-building prowess, security best practices, and troubleshooting capabilities—ready to deliver reliable, scalable applications.
