About Course
SAP Quality Management (QM) is a strategic, integrated component within SAP ERP/S‑4HANA designed to strengthen quality planning, inspection, control, and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle . This 40-hour training delivers a practical, end-to-end immersion into QM—from foundational setup to analytical evaluation and certification readiness.
Participants begin with core module navigation and enterprise structuring—defining plants, company codes, and purchasing roles that align with quality checkpoints in procurement, production, and sales Master data management then centers on inspection characteristics, sampling plans, methods, catalogs, and inspection plan configuration—essential for sourcing and production inspections .
The bulk of the training focuses on inspection execution, where users learn to generate inspection lots (automatic/manual), record results, make usage decisions, and perform inventory postings based on inspection outcomes . The curriculum integrates QM into procurement—from goods receipt inspections to vendor scoring—and extends to production and sales inspections, including batch and return processing
Quality notifications and non-conformance workflows are covered, teaching how to log defects, conduct root cause analysis, and apply corrective/preventive actions. This is supported by ISO-aligned control mechanisms—statistical process control and certificate management to meet compliance standards .
The final modules emphasize configuration via IMG and cross-module integration (MM, PP, PM, SD), ensuring quality milestones are embedded in enterprise processes. Analytical tools like QMIS and vendor evaluations round out the learning to support quality reporting and performance monitoring
Trainees consolidate their knowledge in a capstone scenario, implementing full-cycle QM—from master data to notifications and analytics—preparing for the SAP Certified Application Associate – Quality Management certification. - Maintain QM views in Material Master, create inspection characteristics, methods

- Module 4: Inspection Lot & Results Recording (4 hrs)
- Auto/manual mod creation, recording of inspection results, usage decisions
- Perform stock posting based on inspection
- Module 5: QM in Procurement & Inventory (4 hrs)
- Conduct GR inspections linked to POs, source inspections, vendor evaluation
- Manage inventory inspection integration
- Module 6: QM in Production & Sales (3 hrs)
- In-process inspections, final inspections post-production/delivery, batch handling
- Module 7: Quality Notifications & Non-Conformance (3 hrs)

- Create certificate profiles and printing; manage test equipment and calibration cycles
