Course Overview
About Course
OpenSpan, now part of Pega Robotics, is an enterprise-grade RPA platform widely used for desktop and web automation in sectors like banking, insurance, and healthcare. This 40‑hour training gives you a structured path to mastering the full lifecycle of automation— from fundamentals to deployment.
We begin by covering RPA essentials and the OpenSpan ecosystem, exploring its architecture and differentiating it from other technologies like AI. You’ll learn installation and setup procedures to build a functional development environment.
Modules on Windows and Web integration teach you how to interrogate UI elements, manage match rules, and design reusable processes. The Interaction Framework section focuses on building seamless end-user automations, integrating workflow logic with the OpenSpan platform.
Deployment training with the Agile Desktop Framework includes project structure conventions, configuration management, and use of the management console. Robust diagnostics and error handling are also emphasized, equipping developers to create maintainable, enterprise-grade bots.
Advanced integration lessons—handling Excel, PDF, email, APIs, Citrix, and legacy systems—expand your automation toolkit. With these integrations, you’ll be ready to automate complex real-world workflows.
A deep dive into debugging and exception management is balanced by coding standards and documentation. The course culminates in a capstone where you’ll build a fully-functional automation, suitable for portfolio demonstration or certification.
Led by certified trainers, the course includes interactive labs, live debugging support, mock interview sessions, and certification readiness. Graduates emerge capable of architecting, building, deploying, and maintaining reliable RPA solutions with OpenSpan/Pega Robotics.
This program prepares you for roles like RPA Developer or Automation Engineer and aligns with certification tracks from Pega. It addresses enterprise automation challenges and equips you with the skills to deliver mission-critical outcomes via scalable and maintainable bots.
