Course Overview
About Course
This 40‑hour Flask training equips developers with practical expertise in building and deploying full-featured web applications using Python. Beginning with core Flask concepts, participants learn routing, templates (Jinja2), static asset integration, and HTTP form handling. Next, they advance into session management and secure cookie usage.
Database integration is explored in depth via both relational (SQLite + SQLAlchemy) and NoSQL (MongoDB) setups, complete with CRUD operations and migrations. Learners then build RESTful APIs, including JSON handling and JWT-based authentication, laying foundations for service-oriented architectures.
The course emphasizes strong app structure through blueprints and the application factory pattern, followed by test-driven development, unit testing with pytest, logging, and error handling. Caching strategies with Redis and asynchronous background processing via Celery gear students for scalable, performant solutions.
Finally, learners navigate containerized deployment stacks using Docker and Docker Compose, uWSGI/Nginx delivery, and deployment on platforms like Heroku or Linux servers. CI/CD principles and environment management round out the curriculum.
With a focus on real-world labs—creating blogs, APIs, and task-driven applications—alongside mentor guidance, peer reviews, and career-focused support, graduates leave with a strong portfolio, confidence in Flask best practices, and readiness for professional Python web development roles.
