Course Overview
About Course
In today’s fast-paced tech landscape, DevOps bridges development and operations to accelerate software delivery, improve reliability, and foster continuous innovation. Azure DevOps provides a comprehensive, integrated platform—comprising Boards for planning, Repos for source control, Pipelines for CI/CD, Artifacts for package management, and Test Plans for quality assurance. This 40‑hour training program empowers professionals with end-to-end expertise using Azure’s native DevOps toolchain.
Participants begin by understanding DevOps principles and Azure DevOps services. Through hands-on labs, they learn to plan and track Agile workflows, implement Git-based version control, and create CI pipelines that automate builds, tests, and artifact management using YAML syntax. Deployment techniques, including blue/green releases and multi-environment rollouts, are covered in detail.
Building infrastructure via code is a key focus: attendees use ARM templates and Terraform integrated with Azure Pipelines to standardize and automate provisioning. Configuration automation using Ansible or similar tools ensures consistent environments across deployments. To modernize delivery, containerization fundamentals are taught alongside deployments to AKS.
Quality engineering is integral: the program includes modules on integrating unit, integration, and performance testing in pipelines, and utilizing Test Plans and policy gates to enforce code and dependency standards. Monitoring and observability with Azure Monitor and Application Insights enable teams to detect issues early and maintain system health.
Security is woven throughout with DevSecOps best practices: secret management, vulnerability scans, and compliance automation ensure secure software lifecycles. The course culminates in a capstone project where participants design an end-to-end DevOps solution, from code commit to deployment and monitoring.
With mentorship, real-world labs, feedback sessions, and certification prep for AZ‑400, attendees graduate ready to streamline delivery pipelines, enhance code quality, and drive continuous improvement. This immersive journey prepares engineers to lead DevOps transformation and confidently pursue roles as Azure DevOps professionals.
